Gusty winds and frequent lightning could accompany the storms.
Periods of heavy and spotty rain are expected to continue throughout the morning, with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms returning in the afternoon and early evening.
Showers are likely Monday as well, with gradual clearing expected by Tuesday. Almost six inches of rain fell in just a few hours, and water quickly rose in low-lying areas.
