J.K. Rowling won’t be writing more Harry Potter
The play, penned by Rowling, writer Jack Thorne and director John Tiffany, is set 19 years after the seventh and final book in the boy wizard series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Thousands of people dressed up and packed the streets to celebrate the event which was put on by the Pages on Kensington book store and other businesses to celebrate the hardcopy release of J.K Rowling’s script related to the play “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child“.
Author J.K. Rowling (ROHL’-ing) says she is hoping to bring “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” to Broadway and beyond. “So, I’m thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now”. And in April 2017, Universal Studios in Los Angeles will unleash a Harry Potter attraction, the second in the United States.
“We didn’t know what to expect with this book because it’s a stage-play, it’s the script of a play but everybody’s so excited just to have a new Harry Potter story”, Michael Herrmann, owner of Gibson’s Bookstore in Concord, said.
17 years later and Gibson’s Book store prepared for the masses on Sunday with the newly released story in the magical series of Harry Potter.
Sheryans, 16, said he was not sure he’d ever get the chance to see another Harry Potter book launch. Heck, I’d love to see a spinoff about Rose Granger-Weasely.

The play opens ahead of the November movie version of Rowling’s Potter spin-off book Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them and follows the opening in April of a second Harry Potter attraction within a theme park, this time at Universal Studios in Los Angeles.
