Petrol price cut by Rs1.42 per litre, diesel by Rs2.01 per litre
Petrol and diesel prices across the country have been slashed once again, with the cost of petrol dropping by Rs. 1.42/litre, while diesel prices have fallen by Rs. 2.01/litre.

The price of both fuels also fell in other states.

The drop in prices came into effect on midnight July 31 and was the third time that fuel prices were cut in the month of July.
Diesel will cost Rs.52.27 per litre, down from its previous price of Rs.54.28. Prior to that petrol price was cut by 89 paise a litre and diesel by 49 paise on July 1.
Price of Super petrol will reach QR1.45 a litre from QR1.40 in July and QR1.30 in June.
“The movement of prices in the global oil market and INR-USD exchange rate shall continue to be monitored closely and developing trends of the market will be reflected in future price changes”, it added.
Petron Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Alang Zari Ishak, in confirming this said, the price for RON95 remains at RMRM1.75 per litre while RON97 remains at RM2.10 per litre.

After discounting the April 16 reduction, petrol prices have jumped by Rs 9.04 per litre since mid-March and diesel by Rs 11.05 per litre.
