Want an emotional relation with Pakistan: Rajnath Singh
“No third power is required for making the situation better in Kashmir”, he said, adding, the Government of India would not tolerate terrorism.

Singh said that whatever has happened in Kashmir is sorrowful.
Singh said he would look into a report submitted by interlocutors appointed by Centre after the 2010 protests and suggestions made by former Union minister P Chidambaram.
“Please do not do it. You must encourage them”. “Whatever be the napak (unholy) intentions of our neighbour, it will not succeed”, Rajnath said to the thumping of benches in the Lok Sabha.
The ongoing war of words between Pakistan and India escalated recently after Pakistan PM Sharif addressed a gathering on the occasion of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s victory in the “Azad Jammu and Kashmir” assembly election last Thursday, said: “We are waiting for the day (when) Kashmir becomes (a part of) Pakistan”.
Fresh violence broke out in the Valley on Friday after several days of calm, and led to the death of one protestor.
Leaders and representatives of various mainstream political parties are also scheduled to meet Singh later on Saturday and Sunday. “The Kashmir issue needs to be dealt with collectively”.
The Home Minister will fly back to New Delhi on Sunday evening, concluding his two-day visit to the trouble-torn valley. He said that he and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are “really” concerned about the situation in Kashmir and offer sympathy to the families of those who have lost their lives. “I have never said there should be plebiscite. I have said there should be dialogue”, he said.
The Minister, on a two-day visit to the State, will assess the situation on the ground in the wake of the 15-day curfew and shutdown of communication infrastructure in the Valley.
On the prevailing unrest in the Valley, the minister said that he is “worried “on the situation in the state”. “Whoever I met, I appealed to them to help in restoration of normalcy”.
He said steps were being taken to ensure Kashmir becomes a “firdous” or heaven again, remembering a famous Persian couplet that praises the serene beauty of the land and refers to it as the “paradise on Earth”. They see everything from the rear mirror. Main opposition National Conference did not participate in the meeting.
He is likely to announce dialogue with Kashmiri separatists leaders.
Singh said that during his stay in Srinagar he met with more than 30 delegations and with chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and her cabinet colleagues.

He urged security forces to refrain from using pellet guns in Kashmir where unrest sparked by the killing of 22-year-old Hizb Commander Burhan Wani earlier this month has left around 3,000 people injured and at 49 dead.
