Decade honour for singer Justin Timberlake at Teen Choice Awards

Jessica Alba moved an audience to tears as she gave a passionate tribute to those affected by gun violence at the Teen Choice Awards.

According to Billboard, Timberlake was presented with his 23rd Teen Choice Award on Sunday by Kobe Bryant at the Teen Choice Awards 2016, this award was The Decade Award, celebrating what has been a pretty substantial decade in the life of Justin Timberlake. “That’s so exciting. It’s unbelievable to us the impact this movie was able to have, and have all your guys appreciate it means the world to us”, Jennifer said during the speech.

The singer also punctuated his acceptance speech by invoking the “undying wisdom” of the late Muhammad Ali.

“As a relatively new dad and a former teen, I am here to say you will make mistakes along the way”, he said.

Other stunts included the wrestler-actor and singer-actress engaging in a 30-second selfie challenge, as well as Justice and Laverne Cox, her co-star in an upcoming remake of “The Rocky Horror Picture”, squirting Cena with water bottles as they explained the movie’s plot. “Not just to you but to the world and your generation who will someday inherit this world from [us] old timers”. “I have many times – even Ali did”. You will fall down. “Tonight, we stand together with these teens united in a call for peace and an end to this violence”, Alba said.

In TV, teen drama Pretty Little Liars was the stand-out victor with four awards. (I hope my son watches this one day.) They aren’t flawless, either, but they have been through this movie before, and they love you more than you can imagine.

Big winners in the movie arena included Captain America: Civil War, which was named Choice Movie Sci-Fi/Fantasy victor and its star, Chris Evans, also took home Choice Movie Actor in the same category for his role as the superhero.

The two-hour ceremony included performances by “Empire” actress Serayah, Charlie Puth, Flo Rida, Bebe Rexha and Jason Derulo.
