Donald Trump says he was being sarcastic about Russian Federation hacking Clinton’s emails
You take a look at what was said in those emails, it’s disgraceful. (Both names are both pronounced “kane.”) When someone corrects him on the state name, Trump switches that but goes on talking about events drawn from New Jersey politics (with which he’d naturally be more familiar) rather than Virginia’s.

In an interview on ABC’s This Week, Mr Trump suggested that the people of Crimea would rather be part of Russian Federation.
Trump’s comment about Crimea and Russian sanctions, says Kramer, sent “terrible signals and will be interpreted not only as a betrayal by the United States of our allies but as rewarding aggressive behavior by Russia”.
Donald Trump really has a thing for Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“I think Mr. Trump has made it very clear he views Russian Federation to be somebody that we need to be firm with”, campaign manager Paul Manafort said on CBS” “Face the Nation”.
On the topic of Putin and Ukraine, The Donald said: ‘He’s not going into Ukraine, OK, just so you understand. Well, he’s there in a certain way’.
Asked if she believed Putin wanted Trump in the White House, Clinton said she was not going to jump to that conclusion. In an interview taped Wednesday and aired Thursday by “Fox and Friends”, the billionaire businessman praised Putin again – and this time slammed U.S. President Barack Obama. But I can think of no precedent, whatsoever, for a national nominee who clearly does not know who the vice-presidential nominee on the other side is. And frankly, that whole part of the world is a mess under Obama with all the strength that you’re talking about and all of the power of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and all of this. I don’t bow, ‘ Trump said during the interview.
Democrat rival Hillary Clinton’s campaign pointed to the exchange to question what Mr Trump knows about the subject and argued that he was repeating Mr Putin’s talking points on Crimea.
Trump caused an uproar during a press conference last Wednesday when he called on Russian Federation to release 30,000 emails deleted from Hillary Clinton’s private email server – a comment which the Clinton campaign said amounted to a presidential candidate encouraging a foreign adversary to conduct espionage against the United States.
‘But it shouldn’t surprise us. “You take a look at what was said on those emails, it’s disgraceful”.
‘And it’s yet more proof why Donald Trump is temperamentally unfit and totally unqualified to be commander in chief’. “I said, ‘I’m gonna disavow that?’ But when Putin says good things, and when we have a possibility of having a good relationship with Russian Federation, I think that’s good”. I said he’s a better leader than Obama.
And he asked about Trump’s claims in recent years that he has a personal relationship with Putin. “This was a long time ago”. “Russia, if you’re listening, I hope you’re able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing”, Trump told reporters.

And his offhand invitation for Russian Federation to help unearth the deleted emails from Clinton’s State Department years appeared to violate a cardinal rule against foreign meddling in US politics.
