Hillary Clinton Bus Tour Continues in Ohio
Instead, he followed his remarkably dark convention speech (75 minutes that can be summarized as “be very afraid, and only I can save you”) with a renewed attack on vanquished GOP primary rival Ted Cruz and a series of irresponsible statements that stand out even by Trump standards.

“You have sacrificed nothing”, Khan told Trump. I believe she made people see her in a different and better way. I work very, very hard.
He added: “Sure those are sacrifices”.
Khizr Khan, whose son Humayun was killed serving in the US Army, challenges Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump to read his copy of the US Constitution. During the speech, Mrs Khan stood silently by his side, wearing a headscarf. Many people, not just Republicans, don’t trust her. On top of that she’s not an exciting campaigner. She probably, maybe she wasn’t allowed to have anything to say. “I’ve seen her holding the hands of mothers anxious about how to feed their kids, how they’ll get them the health care they need”.
It’s pretty sad when the Democrat convention is keynoted by the holy trinity of liars: Bill “I never had sex” Clinton on Tuesday, Barack “If you like your doctor you can keep your doctor” Obama on Wednesday and Hillary “It was a spontaneous riot due to an internet video” on Thursday. Perhaps it is only fitting that it took the family of a Muslim American hero to further expose the candidate’s lack of a sense of decency.
Mr Trump’s comments about Mrs Khan came a day after he criticised retired four-star general John Allen and blasted a Colorado Springs, Colorado, fire marshal for capping attendance at one of his speeches. The fire marshal, Brett Lacey, was recently honored by the city as “Civilian of the Year” for his role in helping the wounded at a 2015 mass shooting at a local Planned Parenthood.
And so we look forward to hearing not more platitudes and broad prescriptions but specifically what each candidate would do to improve the lives of Americans while safeguarding our nation from threats both foreign and domestic.
Clinton subsequently explained how her upbringing and past had shaped her as a person. Virtually no one is going back and forth between Trump and Clinton. For example, in the most recent poll of national voters from Public Policy Polling, Clinton leads Trump 46 percent to 41 percent.
Winding west through Pennsylvania, with plans to cross into Ohio, Clinton has emerged from the four-day party showcase to pitch herself, at least in part, to voters with a history of antipathy toward Democrats.
The Trump campaign swaggered out of the convention weeks, feeling bullish about the bump the nominee received from his own nominating convention. Jeff Merkley had a simple message: He, as a Sander’s supporter, has hopped over to supporting Clinton, and those in Colorado should do the same.

“I find it highly amusing that Donald Trump talks about ‘Make America Great Again.’ He doesn’t make a thing in America – except bankruptcies”, CBS News quoted the former First Lady as saying. Here is my answer to Donald Trump: Because without saying a thing, all the world, all America, felt my pain. But he said Trump established himself well, as did his family, particularly his children, who were just as blunt spoken as their father.
