Marouane Fellaini, Adnan Januzaj set for Manchester United exit transfer news update

David Moyes has confirmed rumours that Sunderland are interested in signing Manchester United duo Adnan Januzaj and Marouane Fellaini – as reported by Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol and Soccerway.

Januzaj was handed his United debut by Moyes in 2013, but fell out of favour under Louis van Gaal and had a disappointing loan move to Borussia Dortmund cut short last term.

Indeed, Moyes brought Fellaini with him to Old Trafford from Everton in a £27.5million transfer, whilst the prodigious Januzaj got his first taste of senior football under the 53-year-old during the 2013/14 campaign.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League last season and having lost Sam Allardyce to the England job last month, concerns will certainly be growing at Sunderland in the coming weeks.

‘It does take a bit of time, but we’ll make it work. Sunderland narrowly avoided relegation although derived some pleasure from condemning local rivals Newcastle United to the drop.

‘They’re excellent players. We’re interested but I’m sure there’s a load of other clubs that are as well. It’s a hard window because of the prices.

“This has got to be a building job”.

The Black Cats boss brought the Belgian to the Premier League whilst in charge at Everton and wants to be re-united with the midfielder.

“Everton had been in the bottom six for the past four or five years before I came in, so there’s a similarity there”.

“You’re not going to change it in one window and if we are late we’ll do the best we can”.

The former United boss wants to raid his former club to sign not one, not two but three players this summer. “We want players to do the journey with us”.
