The incident took place on June 24 and Kane turned himself in on July 22.

Acting Erie County District Attorney Michael Flaherty said his office will treat Kane as any other defendant.

His attorney, Paul Cambria, said a video of the dance floor inside the Bottoms Up bar will help clear his client.

Be Civil – It’s OK to have a difference in opinion but there’s no need to be a jerk. Police said two women accuse Kane of trying to push them into his vehicle during two separate incidents around 3 a.m.

“The reality is that for first-time offenders, anybody, whether you are a hockey player or just an ordinary guy convicted of those offenses, the reality is you usually, rarely go to jail”, Flaherty Jr. said, per the Buffalo News. One of the women said Kane told her, “You’re coming to my house with me and you’re going to like it”. The bouncer said that after he told Kane he had to leave the nightclub, Kane pushed him twice before “someone else grabbed Kane and walked him out the back”.

Kane spent parts of 4 seasons in Winnipeg before being traded to the Sabres in 2015.
