‘Dr. Phil’ Season Premiere To Feature Burke Ramsey

Nearly 20 years after the death of 6-year-old JonBenet Ramsey, her brother will speak publicly for the first time about the case that gripped a nation on “Dr. Phil”, the show’s website announced Monday. After 20 years, it’s finally time for answers. The little girl was found in the basement with duct tape over her mouth and a cord around her neck.

Speaking to the media for the first time, the 29-year-old reveals shocking, never-before-heard details about his sister’s mysterious, still unsolved, murder. Subsequent episodes will air on September 13 and September 19. John later found his daughter’s body hours after police completed a search of the home. John and Patsy were the primary suspects in the case for more than a decade until police cleared them of any wrongdoing in 2008. JonBenet’s brother was also thought to be a suspect since he was inside the home at the time of her disappearance, but his parents stood by their story that he was sleeping the entire time.

The murder continued to be investigated in following years. However, in 2010, police desired to re-interview Burke in the continuation to investigate JonBenet’s death, the site mentioned. Phil McGraw’s interview with him will air over three episodes of Dr. Phil, starting with the season premiere on Monday, Sept. 12, continuing on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and winding up the following Monday, Sept. 19.
