Argentine hitman Jonathan Calleri has made quite the name for himself over the last two years, having smashed 23 goals in 59 games for Boca Juniors.

The Hammers have been chasing the 22-year-old goalgetter since January, but it is understood a deal has now been struck.

Speaking to ESPN Argentina, Calleri lifted the lid on negotiations with his club Deprtivo Maldonado, suggesting they had been productive.

West Ham are considering a £7million move for Germany worldwide Mario Gomez, according to the Mirror.

AC Milan have accepted the offer already and now it is down to Bacca to decide whether he wants to sign, though the striker has reportedly said he wants to either stay at AC Milan or play Champions League football.

“I hope I can adapt as soon as possible to the Premier League”.

And his form convinced West Ham to launch a bid to bring him to England.
