Democrats contrasted their optimistic, policy-laden message with the darker vision and less specific platform that marked Trump’s turn during the Republican convention a week earlier.

Because so much of Ivanka’s life has been following in her father’s footsteps, she feels it would make sense that she would get into politics too.
“He will fight for equal pay for equal work”, she declared at one point, though Donald Trump seldom talks about pay equity – certainly not as often as his Democratic opponent, Hillary Clinton.
“It’s also a prelude to reaching the goal that unites us all when this party, and better still this country, will know what it’s like to win again”, Ivanka said. Donald Trump denounced her convention speech as “full of lies” and said he’s starting to agree with those calling for Clinton to be locked up.
The stakes are high: A loss to Trump would not only end Clinton’s political career, it could be a devastating coda to her and her husband’s political legacy and leave the Democratic Party weaker than it has been in a generation.
“At my father’s company, there are more female than male executives”, she said.
“As President, my father will change the labor laws that were put in place during a time in which women were not a significant part of the workforce and will focus on making quality childcare affordable and accessible for all”, she said.

Throughout the convention, Democrats tried to convey the stakes of the election not only to Sanders backers but to Republicans concerned about Trump’s bombastic tone and foreign policy positions.
We’re sure Ivanka can handle the responsibility since she’s already taken the podium at the 2016 RNC to rave reviews. Ivanka even stated that Trump is “color blind and gender neutral”.
