Hillary Clinton will formally accept the nomination to become the Democratic candidate for president in Philadelphia at the Democratic National Convention, becoming the first woman to be nominated for the position by a major political party.
The Clintons’ daughter, Chelsea, will introduce her Thursday night, painting a personal picture of her mother.

“And most importantly don’t believe anyone who says, ‘I alone can fix it, ‘” she said, in a nod to Trump’s convention speech last week. There is no other Donald Trump.
There were initial questions of whether it was even a good idea for Clinton to speak.
“He’s taking the Republican party a long way from morning in America to midnight in America”, Clinton said of Trump.
Some were hoping for more of an effort to bring Sanders supporters into the party that is backing Clinton. “Where families are strong, communities are safe, and yes, love trumps hate”.
Clinton also sought to stoke any voter concerns that Trump is too unpredictable to lead the country, especially when it comes to national security.
