Twitter, unsurprisingly, went wild after Trump’s outburst, comparing the Republican presidential nominee to a crying kid.
“Actually I was only kidding”, he said, apparently addressing the mother. “I think she really believed me that I love having a baby crying while I’m speaking”, he added.
“I saw that Donald Trump kicked a crying baby out of an event earlier today, so as I’m thinking about pre-K, sometimes you wonder who the baby is”.
And what do you know. “I love babies”, Trump said after hearing the baby crying during an aside about the trade imbalance.
He told the mother not to worry about the baby because he “loves babies”. “What a handsome baby”. “The mom’s running around”, he pointed out, but he was not to be bothered. “It’s young and attractive and healthy, that’s what we want”. That’s OK. People don’t understand.

It’s obvious from his previous comments, relationships, actions – OK, his whole life story – that he has little respect for women in general.

Mr Trump was bragging about how a Chinese bank rents space in one of his NY buildings when the baby began doing what babies are known to do. Many of them raised fists when they were escorted out.
