However, Will Smith weighed in with his two cents on the matter, telling E!
There have always been rumours the jewel in the crown of ’90s pop culture, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, would be undergoing a 21st-century rejuvenation; with some versions even citing Will Smith would be onboard as producer. But either way, a reboot in any form is not happening; “we’re going to leave that one alone” seems pretty unequivocal. However, with word that Smith is not done with a Fresh Prince revival, viewers have one less reboot to add to their ever-growing list of shows to binge watch. According to TVLine, it was going to be “a present-day family comedy that puts a new spin on the fish-out-of-water tale while maintaining the spirit of Fresh Prince”. As the Inquisitr reported, Smith has made appearance with his DJ Jazzy Jeff, who played his goofy best friend Jazz on the show.
“I don’t think ever, like pretty close to when hell freezes over”, Smith, 47, said.
Smith was then asked by co-star Margot Robbie to tell a white lie to keep fans of the show happy.
While it appears that Smith ditched his roots once he became a huge cinema superstar, the actor admitted that most know him as the Fresh Prince, a moniker that started his rap career and carried into his acting career.

“And if it happened”, Ribeiro said, “it wouldn’t be Fresh Prince”. “I honor the past by loving the character and every once in a while do the dance”.
