The Dr. Phil Show says “never-before-heard details” about the JonBenet Ramsey murder will be aired this fall when her brother speaks to the press for the first time. He was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, but never charged with the murder because his DNA did not match that found on the girl’s body. JonBenet’s brother was also thought to be a suspect since he was inside the home at the time of her disappearance, but his parents stood by their story that he was sleeping the entire time. After he was cleared, Karr moved back to Atlanta and lived with his father.

Both Patsy and John Ramsey were crucified in the media and damned by the public as being the real killer.

Before “Toddlers & Tiaras” made pageant mothers semi-acceptable by the mainstream public, Patsy was often seen as sexualizing her daughter. The district attorney at the time, Alex Hunter, who presented the evidence to the grand jury, said in 1999: “I and my prosecutorial team believe we do not have sufficient evidence to warrant the filing of charges against anyone who has been investigated at this time”. The Ramsey family was originally suspected of being involved in the child’s death but were cleared in 2008, two years after the death of Patsy Ramsey to ovarian cancer.

Burke Ramsey, 29, will speak with Dr. Phil in an exclusive interview about his sister’s mysterious death. The interviews will mark the first time that Burke Ramsey has spoken publicly about his sister’s infamous murder in 1996.
