Premier League referee Mark Clattenburg’s very amusing tattoos revealed

Football referee Mark Clattenburg has got himself some new tattoos as a memento after taking charge of two major European finals in one year.

The 41-year-old officiated at May’s Champions League final as Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid on penalties, and was then chosen to referee the Euro 2016 final as Portugal beat France in extra-time in July.

Earlier this summer, Clattenburg became the first Englishman to officiate both the European Championship final and Champions League final.

In images uploaded by the Mick Mahon Tattoo Parlour on Facebook, Clattenburg also appears to have had the Euros’ tournament logo tattooed to his arm.

This guy sees no harm in it and reckons Clattenburg is right to get the tattoos if that’s what he wants.

To mark the events, the Durham-born referee made a visit to Mick Mahon tattoo parlour in Spain.

Footballer players regularly have tattoos inked to mark their achievements in the sport, although Clattenburg could be the first high-profile English manager to follow suit.
