After months of anticipation and a bunch of leaks, finally Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is here. For the first time in phones, you can experience HDR streaming on the 5.7 inch Samsung Galaxy Note 7.

The Galaxy Note 7 will be available in three color options for Australian buyers — black, silver and gold. The phone sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD dual- edge Super Amoled display of 1440×2560 pixel resolution protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. You can also purchase the S-View Standing Cover, that can prop your phone up. The camera performance on the S7 Edge was kickass.
This device offers users a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820-processor, well designed and tested 12-megapixel camera, and a 4GB RAM-meaning that you can store lots of photos without worrying about space. It also features a 3500mAh battery and a USB-C port, although an adapter will be available that supports previous USB cables. The new Gear VR will launch on August 19 alongside the Note 7.
There are some new innovations here while others may simply be new to Samsung’s Note series.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is both IP68 dust and waterproof, similar to the company’s other two flagship devices – Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. One key feature is that the screen is curved.
“The Note 7 combines productivity and entertainment with strong security features”, said Samsung Electronics’ president of mobile communications business D.J. Koh at the launch, which was done simultaneously in London and Rio de Janeiro.
