Following practice, Bush said he just wanted to get on the field and focus just on football and ignore the fact that he’s coming off a season-ending knee injury during his time with the San Francisco 49ers in 2015.

Before the Bills’ first night practice of the 2016 training camp Tuesday, head coach Rex Ryan says newly-acquired running back Reggie Bush will participate, though it’s undetermined how much.
The team officially announced the signing Monday afternoon.
Bush will have his work cut out for him once order is restored, however. None of the three players who returned punts for the Bills last season – Marcus Thigpen, Denarius Moore or Leodis McKelvin – remains on Buffalo’s roster.
“We’ve expressed the same things in that respect, so I’ll definitely be back to returning punts and kicks if they need me to and whatever else it is that they need me to do”, he said.
He signed a one-year deal that could earn him approximately $3 million if he hits several incentives.
On Monday, it was reported that the veteran running back was closing in on a contract with the Buffalo Bills.
Another major question with this signing is who will be the Bills number two running back once Karlos Williams is finished serving his four-game suspension? However, Bush occasionally appeared rusty with a drop in punt drills and a pass drop in team drills. “He’s a dynamic player and I really think it’s a great fit for him”. I had to let them know I’ve still got the wheels.
Bush is not allowed to attend USC games since the NCAA’s punishment of the school for violations which have made the school dissociate from him because he accepted “impermissible benefits”. He was limited by a calf strain early on in the season, seeing just eight carries and four catches in five games while Carlos Hyde ran away with the every-down role.
“(Practice) felt good”, Bush said.
Here are a few observations from the first practice under the lights.

Despite his diminishing skills, most linebackers and even some nickel cornerbacks will not like to see Bush motion out to the slot where he’d have ample space to separate.
