Samsung reveals its newest phone the Galaxy Note 7
Much like the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge before it, the Note 7 feels like a premium device through and through. So the big question here is, Which one should you buy? The new device is based on an octa-core 64 bit processor, with 4 GB RAM, and will run with Android 6.0.1. So hardware comparison seems to be neck to neck, so to speak. Even the iris technology isn’t new, as Microsoft’s Lumia 950 phones had it.

Other retailers such as Clove and Carphone Warehouse are yet to announce their offers, but they are taking pre-registrations. Also, the stylus has been improved and there’s a new iris scanner that will recognize user’s face and will unlock the device without entering a passcode or tapping the fingerprint reader.
With Apple’s new iPhone just weeks away, it is clear what Samsung has its eye on. This strongest glass offers protection to the Galaxy Note 7. The dual-curved screen is a first for the Galaxy Note range, with Samsung noting that it allows the Galaxy Note 7 to be 2.2mm narrower than its predecessor, while having the same 5.7-inch display size. You now have options on what you can use; nevertheless, the iris feature might be a little bit tricky for those people who wear spectacles. By the time the Apple smartphones come, the Note 7 will have won the hearts of many users. So is the phone itself.
It has 64GB of internal storage and the battery has been increased to 3,500 mAh. It also stands apart because it charges not with the standard micro-USB cable, but with a USB-C cable. Your phone will not be spending a lot of time attached to a cable.
According to Phone Arena, the upcoming Xiaomi device could be named the Xiaomi Mi Edge, Mi Edge Note or Mi Note 2. Samsung hasn’t released pricing information, other than to say it will be more expensive than the S7 and S7 edge.
The Note 7 will officially release in the United Kingdom on 2 September. Are you going to be using the stylus?

Samsung is the first major company to introduce iris recognition software, meaning you can unlock your phone just by looking at it. It will have curved edges – a well-liked feature limited to a special “Edge” model before.
