McCain Slams Trump For Attack On Gold Star Family

“In recent days, Donald Trump disparaged a fallen soldier’s parents”, said McCain. “If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America”, he said about to his son. “To me it’s really a matter of character for Mr. Trump”.

Kirk is locked in a tight re-election battle against Democratic Congresswoman Tammy Duckworth, who issued a statement Monday saying, “We already knew that Donald Trump was intolerant and unfit to be Commander in Chief”.

The couple became nationally famous after they appeared at the Democratic National Convention last Thursday night, where Khizr Khan dramatically unveiled a pocket copy of the U.S. Constitution and challenged Trump if he had ever read the document.

At the convention, Pakistan-born Khan told the story of his son, Humayun, who earned a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

And in a dramatic statement the current U.S. President Barack Obama said Tuesday that Trump is unfit for office and Republicans should think about abandoning their candidate.

Pence said much of the same media criticizing Trump earlier condemned Patricia Smith’s speech at the GOP convention about the US information officer killed in the 2012 attack in Benghazi.

“I ask the leadership of the Republican Party, I ask them to disown this person”, Khizr Khan told CNN in a televised interview.

“We have been watching him malign even the senior-most leaders of his own party”, Khan said. “No, I guess he probably has to say that kind of thing”.

Christie would not say whether he spoke with Trump about the controversy.

Nehlen’s twitter posts questioned the Khan’s backgrounds, and attacked Ryan for “misrepresenting” Trump’s positions. “They had a great opportunity to get on stage and say we have a problem in this country, we need to protect Americans in this country, Muslim Americans, African-Americans, white Americans, Latino-Americans, and we have a problem”.

Trump had responded by implying Khan’s wife, Ghazala Khan, was not permitted to speak. “I like people who weren’t captured”. Given a chance to walk back those comments, Trump declined, saying he didn’t think he went too far in his comments against his opponent.
