Margot Robbie too busy to wed
While “Suicide Squad” isn’t being met with the best critical reception, it is on pace to earn anywhere between $100 million and $140 million in its opening weekend.

“Suicide Squad” is already breaking records for August ticket sales, and that’s a positive thing.
The good: Margot Robbie, Will Smith, the soundtrack, Jared Leto and Viola Davis.
As for the side note of the movie, unfortunately Jared Leto’s The Joker was quite underwhelming plot-wise and the character’s portrayal. As I said before, I’m looking at it purely from an entertainment factor, and the movie was entertaining. The only scene that kind of works is when the squad discusses their “badness” in a bar, but rather than plumbing those depths further, screenwriter and director David Ayer pulls everyone back into another meaningless battle sequence.
“Where other superhero movies pore over their characters” origin stories, in Suicide Squad only Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn – who gets all of the best lines – and Will Smith’s Deadshot, an assassin with heart – are fleshed out in 3D.

Suicide Squad’s storyline is that a secret government agency is recruiting imprisoned super-villains for unsafe black ops missions so they can save the world from a mysterious and unspecified threat.
After that embargo dropped, the press opened the flood gates and let lose with – you guessed it – a barrage of negative criticism for the film, much like they did for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Rolling Stone said the film “blows itself to smithereens” and epitomises “what’s been off and bad about recent comic-book epics.”The Daily Beast called it a “deranged hot mess”. “A key concern for Warners executives was that Suicide Squad didn’t deliver on the fun, edgy tone promised in the strong teaser trailer for the film”, THR reports. Apart from her, there is not much to enjoy. You felt as if Smith was torn between trying to play his character of Deadshot, or playing a Deadpool-like character.

A little background: The Joker is not actually part of the Suicide Squad. “You just think he’s being a nice guy, and then in the middle of filming, he throws your greatest childhood trauma at you and adds, “The Joker did it”. Killer Croc? Dude who looks like a crocodile and kills people.
