Gwen Stefani takes to the road with the ‘Truth’ in tow

On August 3, a source spoke to Us Weekly, revealing that once Gwen Stefani wraps her tour and Blake Shelton completes his Season 11 duties with The Voice, “getting married is a priority”. Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point, though. Both Shelton and Stefani, as well as the four members of her band, grinned broadly as they worked their way through the song, and the couple gave each other a warm squeeze after they finished, with Stefani going on to finish the 26-song show. On Monday, the couple hit the stage together at a Detroit concert, where they performed their single, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart”. “They say things like, “When we get married” all the time”, the site quoted a source as saying.

“Gwen is very, very happy with Blake”.

And though some still scratch their heads at how the two got together despite being so different (they themselves have also admitted that on paper their relationship doesn’t seem to make sense), the source says that they are much more alike than anyone could guess outside of the personas they seem to express to the outside world. “She always acts giddy when she talks about Blake”, a source said.

“There are no immediate plans for their future, but it’s a serious relationship”, the source added. Weathering the storm that included the end of her marriage to Gavin Rossdale in 2015 (they have three children) and the anger and depression that ensued, the 46-year-old entertainer has reemerged refreshed and reinvigorated with the release of her deeply introspective solo album “This is What the Truth Feels Like” and a new love interest, country superstar Blake Shelton, who is also her fellow coach on the reality TV series “The Voice”. When writing songs for her latest album, This Is What the Truth Feels Like, Stefani said she “channeled God” for the inspiration.

“Their relationship is nearly too good to be true”.

Gwen Stefani seemed to be doling out the routine concert patter, buttering up fans by going on and on about this “really special night” at DTE Energy Music Theatre.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been facing rumors of a possible engagement since their relationship began, but so far, they appear to be taking their time as their career duties increase.
