Sunshine continues and temperatures warm up
Expect more sunshine throughout the middle of the workweek as higher pressure will try to squeeze in from the East. A weak front across the area will allow another round of showers and storms in the afternoon and evening. Showers and thunderstorms again develop, but with better coverage, by the later afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will drop to the 70’s and 80’s. A cold front will drive into the state Thursday, kicking up more strong to severe thunderstorms. There will be some sea breezes, but it will still be very nice to be at and go for a swim.

Hope you all have a wonderful first day of school! There will be scattered showers and storms after 1 pm. Any activity we see in these next couple of days will come from the same system out west. Scattered Showers, drizzle and possible storms will be around, with temperatures in the 70s.
Drivers, heads up for areas of low cloudiness and dense fog that will drop visibility down to one mile or less at times.
Tuesday: Lots of clouds and a stray morning shower, then partial clearing.
Friday: Mostly sunny and temps in the mid 80s.
