BlackBerry regularly touts features like its Hub, Password Keeper, and more as highlights of its Android phones.

BlackBerry Hub+ will run on all Android phones with the Marshmallow version of the operating system, with a 30-day free trial. However, if ads aren’t your thing, you can pay $0.99 a month for usage of the entire suite with no ads. BlackBerry has been working hard on software (which is now a $500 million business for the company) just in case it does feel compelled to pull the plug on hardware.
BlackBerry announced on Wednesday that Android smartphone owners can download its BlackBerry Hub software, previously only available on the BlackBerry Priv and BlackBerry DTEK50, through the Google Play Store. BlackBerry Launcher lets you organize apps, widgets and shortcuts on customized home screen panels for instant access. However, BlackBerry says that it is considering support for Android 5.0 Lollipop soon, adding that it’s also “investigating” the possibility of an iOS app. “Our customers have always raved about the unique experience of our proprietary productivity apps such as the BlackBerry Hub, calendar and contacts, amongst others”. Whatever the situation, you can take a look at the basic Hub+ features right now.
BlackBerry Hub+ Services is now available for download on Google Play.
BlackBerry is offering its BlackBerry Hub+ suite to all Android users running Android 6.0 and up.
Calendar: View and respond to meeting invitations directly from the BlackBerry Hub. It’s a communication suite that organizes all your email, social communications, calendar appointments, messages, and even secure information like passwords into one central location. That will unlock additional features, including contacts, tasks, device search, notes, and launcher.

The Hub aims at unifying a slew of services into one handy slot, whose interface is of course heavily reminiscent of its BlackBerry 10 counterpart. The release will only work with Android devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or newer and can really only appeal to those feeling nostalgic for their old BlackBerry’s which they’ve replaced with an Android phone.
