Phoenix Police Identify Another Incident Linked To ‘Serial Shooter’

Witness statements have led police to believe the suspect has access to more than one vehicle. The suspect is believed to have used several vehicles, including a black 5 Series BMW sedan.

“Someone out there knows who did this”, Phoenix Police Chief Joe Yahner said in an earlier release.

The “serial street shooter” is considered responsible for seven shooting deaths, two people being wounded and two cars damaged by bullets.

Phoenix police tied a new incident to the “serial street shooter” on Wednesday.

No other details on the shooting were immediately available.

Two people were killed in April. He may also use multiple cars.

“The first four we recognized were over in Maryvale, but when we expanded it to eight, we realized some of the earlier incidents actually happened on the east side”, said Sergeant Jonathan Howard with the Phoenix Police Department.

Witnesses have described him as a light-skinned Latino or white man in his 20s.

The victims are Diego Verdugo-Sanchez, Krystal Annette White, Horacio de Jesus Pena, Manuel Castro Garcia, Maleah Ellis, Angela Linner, Stefanie Ellis.

“It doesn’t make me comfortable”, said Michelle Drips to KPHO.

The killer appears to be targeting Hispanic and African-American victims, but they range in age from 12 to 55, says CBS 5 in Arizona. A 16-year-old boy was walking down the street at 11:30 p.m. when he was shot and wounded, according to CNN.
