The 50-year-old Lara starred in the Original Productions-made series as a captain on the Cornelia Marie, one of the many fishing vessels featured on the program. He’s credited with knowing the “Cornelia Marie inside and out”, and helped build the boat when it was first outfitted for crabbing. Fans will remember that Harris tragically collapsed on board the Cornelia Marie after complaining of feeling ill. He just wants to catch come crab and bring them home.
