Republican Party frustrated over Trump’s recent actions
As Mr Trump insisted all is well with his campaign, Republicans grow increasingly anxious about a candidate who seems to have gone permanently off-track.

There’s no indication Trump is unsatisfied with Pence’s approach.
Mr Trump on Wednesday dismissed suggestions that the frustration was hurting his campaign, even as he openly contemplated losing.
Donald Trump may be unwilling to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan, but voters in Ryan’s southeast Wisconsin district are eager to embrace their congressman.
So far, McCain, Ryan and other Republicans who’ve reluctantly declared that they plan to back Trump for president appear to be sticking with him.
Trump told The Washington Post on Tuesday that he’s “not quite there yet”, when asked whether he is backing Ryan against a Tea Party challenger.
Campaign spokesman Marc Lotter didn’t respond to a request to interview Pence about his relationship with Trump.
The officials, including one with direct knowledge of Priebus’ thinking, were granted anonymity to discuss internal strategy because they were not authorized to discuss the sensitive issue during one of the most tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidential campaign.
IN governor Mike Pence went out of sync with his running mate today when he said he’ll endorse Paul Ryan for re-election while Donald Trump is holding out on his support.
“I talked to Donald Trump this morning about my support for Paul Ryan, our longtime friendship”.
Nehlen told CNN earlier Wednesday he wasn’t being used by Trump would gladly accept the Republican nominee’s endorsement if it were offered.
Trump has come under fire for his rebuttal.
With the general election campaign now squarely underway, Republicans found themselves once again forced to answer questions about the latest boundary-defying pronouncement from Trump at a moment when most would rather be talking about Hillary Clinton’s record.
In a statement, Ryan’s campaign said: “Neither Speaker Ryan nor anyone on his team ever asked for Donald Trump’s endorsement, and we are confident in a victory next week regardless”.
“If you are repeatedly having to say, in very strong terms, that what he has said is unacceptable, why are you still endorsing him?”
But let’s just cast our minds ahead a few years here – let’s say that the Republicans completely implode, leaving the country with only a single dominant party.
Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus reportedly expressed his disapproval of Trump’s comments to top campaign aides.
Newly released fundraising numbers also show Trump and the GOP raised $80 million in July, marking a surge in fundraising compared with past months – and drawing close to the combined $90 million raked in by Clinton and the Democrats last month. Meg Whitman, a major Republican donor who contributed heavily to Mitt Romney’s campaign, has now vowed to donate to Hillary Clinton during this election cycle. The Trump campaign has not focused on basic tasks like the transition, for instance.
