Man sues to make Pokemon go away
A recent update of the game became a trouble-maker for gamers after removal of the “3-step” display. They said they didn’t know why it was gifted to them, but that they thought it was part of some unusual promotion strategy, reports Siliconera.

Liu insists that Pokevision was built as a stop gap solution to Pokemon Go’s inoperative in-game tracking system and claims the team “had every intention in closing it down the minute that Pokemon Go’s own tracker restored functionality”.
Pokevision creator Yang Liu has responded with an impassioned open letter to the chief executive of Niantic, John Hanke, imploring him to listen to the fans. Niantic kept the box which shows the nearby Pokemon, but removed the indicator showing how far they are.
According to Liu Pokevision had grown to nearly 50 million unique users, seeing 11 million daily before it was closed at Niantic’s request.

Pokemon Go exploded after its introduction in the United States on July 6, sending players into city streets, offices, parks and restaurants to search for colorful animated characters. She adds that she had no idea why they gave her the legendary Pokemon but it may have something to do with her e-mailing the company since the first day of the release of “Pokemon Go”.
