Ross McCormack has completed his move from Fulham to Aston Villa, signing in a £12million deal.
A move to Leeds followed after for£350k and after two impressive seasons in south Wales and he followed that up with an excellent spell at Elland Road where he won multiple player of the year awards.
Newcastle open their Championship campaign on Friday night with a fixture against Fulham at Craven Cottage.
McCormack is not only a goal scorer, he is also a provider of goals with a good number of assists over the previous three seasons were his scoring exploits have gained him many admirers. Add to this nine assists in both the 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons and it becomes clear what a vital player Ross McCormack can be.
Villa manager Roberto Di Matteo told the club’s official website: “I’m delighted to bring Ross on board”.
Having already signed Pierluigi Gollini, Tommy Elphick and Aaron Tshibola, the Italian tactician has now swooped for McCormack to bolster his attacking options and rebuild the spine of his team.
