Matt Damon on Ben Affleck: ‘He’s great’
Hollywood star Ben Affleck may have not opened up about his split from his wife Jennifer Garner but his good friend Matt Damon says he is doing “great” reported People magazine. While making the walk along the carpet, Affleck was not up for chatting with reporters, yet did stop to sign a Daredevil poster for fans and to chat with those who came out in his support.

Ben – who has kids Violet, nine, Seraphina, six, and three-year-old Samuel with Jennifer – turns 43 on August 15, but Matt isn’t planning to do anything special for his friend’s birthday. “He’s got a big smile on his face”.
Ben and Jen split a couple of months ago after being married for 10 years, and having three children together, though the couple seem to have maintained an amicable relationship, as they’ve been seen both holidaying together and living together since the break-up.
Damon and Affleck are executive producers on “Project Greenlight“, which follows the journey of aspiring filmmakers.
Project Greenlight returns in September for its fourth season after a decade-long hiatus.
When questioned about Ben’s upcoming birthday, Damon responded cheekily.

He joked to People: “Yeah, I wish him well, but he’s 43, it’s kind of like, meh”. “It’s not 40. It’s not 45. I don’t even remember my 43rd birthday”.
