Samsung Galaxy Note 7 launches with iris scanner
The Galaxy Note 5 is now available for as low as Rs 39,999 on e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon. Finally, this internal memo points out that the $200 taken off the price of the GS7, GS7 edge, or Note 5 will come via monthly bill credit.

Samsung has announced its latest and potentially best smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, to much fanfare.
Samsung skipped a number in introducing the Note 7 to align its product portfolio with the S series, which now stands at seven. You also get the same 12MP dual-pixel camera from the Galaxy S7 on the back and 5MP selfie-camera on the front. “Life moves faster than ever now so we created the Galaxy Note7 to move with users – helping them get things done more easily wherever, whenever”.
The Note 7 is alike Samsung’s S7 devices in that it also has IP68 certification, which means that it can be dipped into water for a limited amount of time. The latest image shows a sleek metal smartphone with a curved display to compete with the new Galaxy Note 7.
The Note 7 will start shipping on August 19, but those interested in buying the phablet can place pre-orders starting Wednesday.
Yes the just launched Samsung Galaxy Note 7 packs in plenty of new stuff but this one is first for all smartphones out there. Galaxy Note 7 using a USB Type-C for charging, and is also equipped with NFC support. The company claims that even if the S Pen is fully immersed in water, it is still able to perform well. Still, if we had to put these features on opposite ends of a scale, the Note 7’s bundle of perks just seems a lot weightier overall. This is the first Note with the double curved Edge screen like the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
The new smartphone from the Korean manufacturer will boast the same hardware credentials as its stylus-equipped predecessor in the Note5 but will add practical features such as waterproofing to the list.
