Donald Trump’s strange campaign gets stranger
“I will vote for Hillary, I will talk to my Republican friends about helping her, and I will donate to her campaign and try to raise money for her”, Meg Whitman told The New York Times.

Ms. Whitman’s Republican support spans years, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump holds a Purple Heart given to him during a campaign event at Briar Woods High School in Ashburn, Virginia August 2, 2016.
Party chairman Reince Priebus appealed to the NY billionaire’s adult children to help. He also faces a strong general election challenge from Democratic Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick if he wins the primary. I can not emphasize enough how deeply I disagree with Mr. Trump’s statement.
In an interview for the Washington Post, he refused to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan and Senator John McCain, who are up for re-election in November. This came after one of the most tumultuous weeks of Trump’s presidential campaign.
However, Trump loyalist Corey Lewandowski dismissed reports yesterday evening of dissent and disarray in Mr Trump’s camp. Pierson asked. “It was under Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton that changed the rules of engagements that probably cost his life”.
“It’s natural for campaigns to go through evolutions and reexaminations”, he said. He also insisted, “We’ve never been this united”.
Donald Trump boasts about the businesses he’s built and that he would be the “greatest jobs president that God ever created”. Various Republican leaders have been distancing themselves from Trump’s comments but have not withdrawn their support. He added: “The candidate’s in control of his own campaign”. “I’m in control of doing the things that he wants me to do in the campaign”.
Claiming his candidacy has “exploited anger, grievance, xenophobia and racial division”, Ms. Whitman instead pledged her support for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
Donald Trump’s behavior over the last week has been so poor, more and more prominent members of his party are turning against him. The statement bore striking similarities to what Ryan said about Trump shortly after he effectively sealed the nomination.
“He’s thrown a series of interceptions in the last week that really do not bode well for his campaign”, said Gingrich, who was widely seen as a finalist to be Trump’s running mate.

“He doesn’t get to say ‘you’re fired, ‘” Gingrich concluded on Trump in his interview with Fox.
