Wasserman Schultz In the Hall, But Inconspicuous
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (D., Fla.) primary challenger is filing a complaint with the Federal Election Committee claiming that the outgoing Democratic National Committee chairwoman wrongfully used DNC resources to target his campaign.

It will have surprised no one that after Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign as DNC chair, she quickly got a new title: honorary chair of the Clinton’s 50-state campaign to boost the chances of Democratic candidates.
In return, Clinton seized upon what she called the “fear and the anger and the resentment” from Trump and Republicans, dismissing Trump’s declaration that only he could fix the problems that afflict the nation.
Wasserman Schultz stepped down as party chair on Sunday after WikiLeaks posted emails showing that DNC staffers tried to obstruct Sen. Hundreds of thousands of dollars poured into Canova’s campaign in the days following Wasserman Schultz’s resignation from the DNC chairmanship, and he argues he’s laid the groundwork for a competitive challenge to the six-term legislator.
The morning after her resignation, Wasserman Schultz – a Florida congresswoman – spoke at a breakfast hosted by the Florida delegation to the convention, and was booed. The senator accused Wasserman Schultz of tilting the scales against him with a debate schedule he said favored Clinton, as well as a reluctance to deliver the assistance that parties must evenly distribute to all candidates. Debbie Wasserman Schultz was the co-chair of Clinton’s campaign. She took time out to attend Jewish events, appearing in 2011 at a roast for Ira Forman, who had retired as the director of the National Jewish Democratic Council, where she had one of her first political jobs in the early 1990s as a gofer. I don’t think there’s going to be a great need for me to go up to Philly and chase the spotlight. Leaked e-mails showed that the DNC secretly sought to help Hillary Clinton beat Sanders win the Democratic presidential nomination.
Probably not. The Democrats were never likely to nominate a pseudo-Socialist, and Clinton’s overall support inside the party was strong throughout the primary season. Wasserman Schultz’s campaign has ignored questions about polling.
Since Sanders’ endorsement, Canova has drawn nearly even with Wasserman Schultz in fundraising. “A little polish, and tarnish will go away over time”. In past elections, Democrats in the district have had no option but to vote for her. “I often feel like there’s the Hillary standard and then there’s the standard for everybody else”, she said. They have a political agenda that is more important to them than accurate and unbiased reporting. Those rumors subsided somewhat after President Barack Obama said he had her back while visiting Florida. She’s going to keep working. It really reflects poorly on Wasserman Schultz’s judgment and her character.

It’s not just about her leadership at the DNC, he insists.
