Facebook Copies Snapchat s Stories Feature For Instagram Report
There’s no limit to the amount you can post within a 24-hour window, and photos and videos can be edited using a range of new tools and text options.

Like Snapchat, you can view who’s seen each photo and video you’ve posted.
As Instagram seems to be the place for a lot of businesses, it makes sense to allow them to share some behind the scenes stuff that won’t clog up their feeds. The stories will appear as a slideshow in Your Story.
As far as the privacy of your stories is concerned, if you set your account to private, your story will be visible only to your followers.
Users can also hide their Newsfeed from any particular user, providing more control over what they share.
A rainbow-coloured circle around a user’s profile picture at the top of their feed will denote when they have created a Story. Viewers tap to move through a single story and swipe to jump between stories. These bubbles are displayed through an algorithm that shows your favorite account first. To share your story, tap the checkmark button.
Instagram has launched a new feature called Instagram Stories.
In introducing Stories, Instagram hopes to capitalize on Snapchat’s success, said Elizabeth Lampert, president of Elizabeth Lampert PR.
The new Memories feature was created to let people only save images, referred to as Snaps, that they send. Facebook earlier announced that users can go live from the face-swapping MSQRD app and utilise different Snapchat-like masks and filters while the video is running.
Facebook, which owns Instagram, has tried to multiple times with standalone apps like Poke, Slingshot and Instagram Bolt. New features like this could bag a few million more as they will get to use all features in a single app.
Instagram stories are basically same as the Snapchat stories.
Adding in content that disappears can help Instagram tackle that problem.

You will be able to see how many people have viewed your story, by swiping up on the screen. Since then, videos on Instagram have been increased to 60 seconds.
