According to a report in Variety, “actress-entrepreneur” Gwyneth Paltrow will be one of the celebrity judges on a new, “Shark Tank”-inspired reality show to be called – God help us all – “Planet of the Apps”. The tech website observed the producers of the show have yet to announce the type of app they are looking for, but believes it would either have mass appeal or be visually interesting. Goop has also recently dipped a toe into exploring Snapchat. The Planet of the Apps was Earth all along.
The series has partnered with tech discovery web site Product Hunt on a four-city tour created to bring together tech entrepreneurs and introduce them to the team behind the series. Paltrow also has written three best-selling cookbooks.

Propagate Content and Apple will co-produce the project; Will.i.am and Paltrow also will serve as executive producers.
