Donald Trump refuses to endorse Paul Ryan
He spoke Tuesday. It also misspelled the first name of Sen.

Trump’s refutation of Ryan, the nation’s most senior elected Republican, carried particular derision.
Seth Klarman, a hedge fund manager involved in pro-Israel giving, said he would back Hillary Clinton for president because the prospect of a Donald Trump presidency is “unthinkable”.
Party chair Reince Priebus, a close friend of Ryan, is deeply irritated by Trump’s recent actions and his unwillingness to listen to the advice of senior advisers.
But none have rescinded their endorsement of Trump, and Rubio said he wouldn’t, either – underscoring the ambivalence of many Republicans toward their standard-bearer this year, but also the reluctance of some to do anything to benefit Clinton’s candidacy.
Ryan’s challenger for his House of Representatives seat, Paul Nehlen, defended Trump’s comments, earning praise from Trump, who on Monday night tweeted he “very much appreciated” Nehlen’s “kind words”. “And we are confident in a victory next week regardless”. “They’re not being treated fairly”.
“We need very, very strong leadership”. We don’t need weak people.
Ryan’s primary election in Wisconsin is scheduled for August 9, while McCain’s Senate primary in Arizona is scheduled for August 30.
The New York billionaire made the announcement in an interview with the Washington Post on Tuesday.
Khan and his wife Ghazala have become something of a flash point in the presidential race after speaking out against Trump last week at the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia. Khan excoriated Trump for entertaining a Muslim immigration ban and accused him of making no sacrifices for his country.
Former Trump adviser Barry Bennett acknowledged signs of poor morale among the campaign staff he maintains contact with, but said it would be silly dismiss Trump’s chances with three months before Election Day.
Ryan condemned any criticism of Muslim Americans who serve their country, while Ayotte declared she was “appalled” by Trump’s spat with the Khans.
“Captain Khan was one such courageous example”. Trump, who thinks Khizr Khan “has no right” to question his respect for the Constitution, seems genuinely baffled by the idea that freedom of speech is a two-way street.

The comments kicked up a firestorm of controversy, with Trump’s vice presidential pick, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, issuing a statement honoring Khan.
