Cottom, Shields injured during Seahawks practice

Seattle Seahawks Defensive End Michael Bennett is one of the few National Football League players who will speak out on controversial topics that impact society and he wants NFL’s most prominent position to be more vocal since their stage is a lot bigger than his. So we’re a little bit concerned, we picked up a guy today and we’ve just got to make sure we do a nice job.

“Right now we make the choice to really hold out and we don’t want to push any of those aches and pains at all at this point”.

Rookie draft picks C.J. Prosise (hamstring) and Zac Brooks (hamstring) are sidelined as is rookie undrafted free agent Tre Madden (shoulder). He is on record as being extremely attracted to the Carolina Panthers as a whole, and while he knows he can’t date them, because they are like the cousin that looks like him, and he can’t date because of that… he still might like to just call the prettiest of the bunch and breathe heavily into the phone for awhile. Brooks now has a sore hamstring. Carroll has said Prosise may be able to return next week.

Brandon Cottom, who had been working as the Seahawks’ No. 1 fullback, has an Achilles injury.

Denver Broncos training camp: Day 5 live blog, Twitter feed, and more – Mile High Report After a slew of veterans got the day off on Sunday, we should see a more defensive training camp again today as those veterans return to action. Carroll said backup tight end Ronnie Shields sustained an apparent Achilles injury of his own. “I’m definitely one of the top five defensive ends”.

Via NFL.com, the Seattle Seahawks defensive lineman was kicked out of practice on Thursday by head coach Pete Carroll after Bennett and Cliff Avril got into it with offensive guard Mark Glowinski in what was deemed more than just a boys-will-be-boys summer kerfuffle. Avril returned for team scrimmaging in the final portion of practice. And he’s apparently healthy after fully participating.

The Seahawks now have only four healthy TEs on the roster. Still, the team is a bit shallow up front, especially with Frank Clark a bit nicked up in early training camp practices.

Not having Prosise and Brooks also makes it hard for the team to develop its third-down running back role.

The questions about the offensive line followed Seattle for most of last season.
