Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has insisted that the club will recruit one more player before the end of the transfer window, but refused to confirm if the new arrival will be Juventus star Paul Pogba.

Jose Mourinho’s side are reportedly willing to pay Juventus €120 million to lure the France worldwide back to Old Trafford, but the Serie A club have dug their heels in over the deal’s value.

Pogba is understood to still be on holiday in NY as he enjoys the final few days of his time off following his Euro 2016 exploits.

The Blues held firm to frustrate their Old Trafford hosts in Wayne Rooney’s testimonial as they continued their pre-season preparations.

The fixture will mark Rooney’s 12 years of service to United and comes two years after most players are granted testimonial matches at Old Trafford. I think you are getting one of the best midfield players in the world.

However, United are expected to announce they have reached an agreement with Juventus before Pogba undergoes a medical, signs a contract and the formalities of the protracted deal are concluded. At the minute, he’s not throwing things, but you never know once the season starts.

United are reportedly set to shatter the transfer record in a ‎£100million deal to lure Pogba from Italian champions Juventus and back to Old Trafford.

Mourinho outlined his desire to have his fourth signing in before next week’s Premier League opener at Bournemouth. Will Manchester United win trophies?

“I think every big player can work with other big players”, Ibrahimovic continued.

United’s team of superstars failed to find their way past Ronald Koeman’s side as the game ended a dour, goalless draw.
