Players who will achieve high pro points ranking in their region will be able to compete in the game’s global eSports competitions. According to Microsoft, players should earn high Gears Pro Points to qualify for the global circuit open.

Events are operated by Major League Gaming (MLG) and Gfinity, and over $1 million in cash prizes are up for grabs. Players can also compete in daily and weekly tournaments.
Every point earned by a team makes it more likely for it to qualify in the global circuit LAN matches. The events are truly worldwide, moving between London, Paris, and Mexico City, while others take place in the USA. Additionally, an event worth $100,00 will take place at an unannounced location during the program for a minimum of seven LAN events in ten months. In addition, players from around the world will be able to compete online for $50,000 or more in online prizes for weekly tournaments.
The $1,000,000 prize pool is just the beginning, as fans will be able to purchase in game items to boost the prize pool total. Gears of War players will enjoy large open events with a double elimination format playing the new Escalation competitive game mode (5v5) on Gears of War 4.
“For a limited time, purchasing Gears of War 4 includes the entire Xbox 360 Gears of War Collection including Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, and Gears of War: Judgement”.
For the less daring or skillful, spectators can tune into the ten-month long event via the Gears eSports Weekly Broadcast hosted by MLG.

Interestingly enough, there is no information as to whether or not the Pro Circuit will include both Windows 10 and Xbox One competitors. “Gears of Wars” pro points will be awarded to gamers who would participate in the events.
