Though “Suicide Squad” is set to have a huge 0 million opening weekend, if early negative reviews are any indication, poor word of mouth may result in a serious second-week dip for the film. And yet I could always see the reasoning behind it, the degree to which they felt the characterization and background was necessary for the movie.

But why the hell would you want to develop your characters when you can throw this turd against the wall and tell people it was worth paying to see? But if Suicide Squad does end up performing poorly at the box office, all this does is put more attention and pressure on Wonder Woman to be good and help save the DCEU from itself.
The pacing is off, the plot is practically nonexistent and the characters are wildly underdeveloped.

I don’t really know how to say this other than bluntly stating that the main villain the Suicide Squad is supposed to take down is uninteresting and boring. And this is one of the reasons that it’s a little messy. For those who thought the DC catastrophe Batman V Superman was dark, Ayer was the promise of something truly gritty. “Thank you for wishing such a wonderful thing to me'”.
