Mourinho annoyed by Manchester United’s ‘really bad’ pre-season
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho says the Premier League giants will definitely sign one more player before the transfer windows shuts, amid continued speculation that it will be Paul Pogba.

In footage from YouTube channel ItalianFootballTV, Pogba appears to say “yes” when he is asked, as he signs a football outside a NY hotel, if he is staying at Juve.
And England star Rooney admits he’s been impressed by the additions as Emirates FA Cup winners United prepare to face Premier League champions Leicester City in the season’s original curtain-raiser.
The Juventus midfielder has enjoyed a post-Euro 2016 holiday in the United States while the transfer saga has unfolded, with reports of an agreed deal and rival interest from Real Madrid failing to formalise.
“In the first half, I thought we played some good stuff and created some chances”.
Whether that player is Paul Pogba remains to be seen.
“The market closes on August 31 but my club is trying to do everything to close the market by the August 14”, he told reporters. Find us on Facebook too!
A failure to sign Paul Pogba could lead to an unhappy dressing room at Manchester United, Rio Ferdinand has warned. “So I am happy with my squad and the effort the club did and is still doing”.
Pogba is asking for an annual wage of £10m ($13.1m) after tax and United are ready to meet the player’s demands.
The 30-year-old was celebrating the start of his 12th season at Old Trafford, after leaving Everton in 2004.
However, United are expected publicly to announce they have reached an agreement with Juventus before Pogba undergoes a medical, signs a contract and the formalities of the protracted deal are concluded. “To play alongside him is magnificent for me and hopefully there will be many more times that I can do that”.

Ibrahimovic also praised Rooney’s longevity at Old Trafford, a sentiment echoed by former United manager Alex Ferguson, who has paid his own tribute to the forward in the official programme for Wednesday’s match.
