Eddie Redmayne is set to star in the new “Fantastic Beasts” franchise.

In the first movie, Newt arrives in 1920s-era NY, where he navigates a foreign (in more ways than one) American wizarding landscape and must deal with his suitcase full of magical creatures getting accidentally opened.

“There is a mention of some characters that we know and love from previous movies, but we only talk about them fleetingly”, director David Yates previously told Reuters.

Fans who were able to get hold of tickets from official vendors Nimax and ATG paid significantly less, with seats from £15 and 300 tickets for every performance priced at £20 or less for each of the two plays. “He’s much younger than he used to be, but he’ll be coming back”.

The “Fantastic Beasts” franchise is an important part of J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, a brand which continues to expand.

Last week, Barnes & Noble said the script book was the U.S. retail bookseller’s most pre-ordered book since Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. USA and British booksellers say the book is already the best-selling title in a decade. The background music waxes nostalgia with the signature theme of Harry Potter playing in the background. It is possible that the real world ignored it because they feared it, and perhaps Rowling will delve more into this issue only hinted at in her original seven-book series.

Tickets to “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” for the second half of 2017 began vanishing quickly after going on sale Thursday, powered by stellar reviews and the unabated appetite for anything pertaining to author J.K. Rowling’s famous creation.
