Are the Worst Heroes ever any good?
DC Comics can’t seem to catch a break. “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” was given a poor rating by the site scoring only 65 percent while “Man of Steel” scoring 75 percent. The fans are really gonna enjoy this. It turns out that the story isn’t anything special, the tone is wildly inconsistent and the characters are poorly drawn. Or so people thought.

You know all those awful reviews Suicide Squad has been getting? Placed under the command of Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman) and his samurai Katana (Karen Fukuhara), they set out to begrudgingly save the world.
If it seems like there’s a lot of characters to follow, that’s because there is. Ayer continues with confirmation the theatrical version of Suicide Squad is his cut.
Many critics have panned the film, with Richard Lawson of Vanity Fair calling it “too shoddy and forgettable to even register as revolting”.
As with any high profile movie preceded by enormous hype, its prospects won’t be known until critics and audiences get to watch it. Early reviews were mostly negative. Diablo gets exactly one scene exploring his character, though it is one of the best parts of the movie. Of course, I don’t recommend bothering, but I know most of you will flock to it anyway. It’s surprising to see something so basic messed up in a massive studio blockbuster, especially one like this that stresses its characters’ importance.
When all is said and done, “Suicide Squad” is really an action flick. Naturally, we’d prefer you to comment only if you’ve seen the film as that’s the point here, but do what feels good. Their chemistry is genuine and entertaining. What ended up happening was that the entire film felt like a third act that was stretched out for two hours. So it’s up to the Suicide Squad to retrieve this bomb and get out alive. Like “Batman v Superman”, this movie suffers from awful editing and pacing. As a result, the first 20 minutes acts as an introduction to the cast of insane characters.
Setting this aside, many are still interested in watching the film, particularly looking forward to see their favorite celebs play an unlikely character.
My main issue with the characters is the implementation of the Joker and Batman. Besides his role in Harley’s backstory, the time dedicated to him is sorely needed elsewhere, like, for example, developing Courtney’s Captain Boomerang, a surprisingly amusing performance.

But no such joy can last for long in the face of Jared Leto and his Serious love of Truth, as Vanity Fair discovered when it asked Leto about the meme this week. It’s over-the-top without being scary or intimidating. While the Joker could’ve made a worthy primary enemy for the Suicide Squad, the film adds a typical sci-fi alien type combatant for them to go after.
