If you stuck around after “Batman v Superman” waiting for an end-credits scene that never came, you’ll be happy to know there’s one mid-credits scene in “Suicide Squad”.

– The stunning and talented Margot Robbie, riding a wave of success from “The Wolf of Wall Street” to the cover of Vanity Fair, hits all the wrong notes as the bat-wielding and supposedly bat-bleep insane Harley Quinn.

“The critics have been absolutely horrific, they’re really, really terrible”.

In response to the bad Rotten Tomatoes score, a Change.org petition to shut down the site garnered more than 18,000 signatures. “I just don’t think they like superhero movies”.

“Suicide Squad” is written and directed by David Ayer, unlike the previous two DC Comics’ films, “Man of Steel” and “Batman v Superman” from Zack Snyder, and this film is different in many ways.

Call it critical bias, fandom confusion or a major conspiracy, but Suicide Squad is going to have to be considered a problem.

“We were doing a rehearsal one day and he was working separately, and this tough-looking guy walks in and says: ‘I’ve got a message from Mr J'”.

“Suicide Squad” is rated PG-13 for sequences of violence and action throughout, disturbing behavior, suggestive content and language.

“This is like the first time where, like, I’m cool for real”.

Mallrats director Smith seems to be one of the few who actually like the movie.

But Smith brings his usual charisma to Deadshot, Davis lends scary authority to Waller, and Robbie is superficial but entertaining as Harley Quinn.

Before shooting began, Leto explained how he discussed how to approach the Joker with a famous writer at DC.

While reviews have been overwhelmingly negative, the word-of-mouth hasn’t stopped moviegoers from seeing the film… yet. Additionally, Suicide Squad probably won’t have the benefit of opening in the world’s second biggest market, China, so that could also hurt its long-term prospects.
