Obama warns Trump not to spread details of security briefings
No members of the Republican leadership in Congress have called to rebuke Hanna, nor have officials representing Trump’s campaign tried to contact him, the congressman said.

At his news conference, Obama strongly rejected the idea of a ransom. “Of course, he’s tried to bridge the party together with Paul Ryan, but Ryan is also running against somebody who’s not going to win but nonetheless, he’s a strong supporter of Mr. Trump’s”.
“But the stakes in this election are so high: To restore our country and home and overseas, we need new leadership – and I’m looking forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with Donald Trump to drive that new leadership forward”.
Trump responded, in part, by suggesting that Ghazala Khan, the mother of the soldier, was silent during her husband’s speech at the DNC because she was not “allowed” to speak. “And sometimes it’s. I mean, I can understand where he’s coming from, but I don’t always agree with it”, he said.
Meanwhile, groups of wealthy Republicans unhappy with Mr. Trump have been privately courting prominent peers to join them in backing Democrat Hillary Clinton’s US presidential bid, several people involved in the effort told Reuters.
Donald Trump’s campaign chair, Paul Manafort, said Thursday morning that the campaign is feeling “comfortable” with where it is, despite a sharp dip in support in the polls.
It also prompted a firestorm of speculation that somehow Trump would be forced to abandon the race for president and the job of finding a replacement would be taken up by the Republican National Committee chairman, Reince Priebus.
Gov. Mike Pence on Wednesday came out and endorsed Ryan in his primary election.
“We are extremely proud of our 69 percent growth in small-dollar donations, which shows the broad based support of over one million donors across America”, said Steven Mnuchin, the campaign’s finance chairman.
Obama, a Democrat who endorsed his former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 White House race, has made clear his dismay over Trump, a NY businessman who has proposed temporarily banning Muslims from entering the United States and building a wall on the U.S. border with Mexico.
Kinzinger slammed Trump for not saying he honored the Khan family and instead took it as “an affront to him”. “Why are we caught up in these sideshows?” “There’s no reassuring. Trump is Trump”.
The businessman directed his own criticism at Clinton on Thursday, while briefly addressing the tension with Ryan. Trump’s campaign release doesn’t break down exactly how much the campaign itself brought in.
