Watch the San Diego Comic Con 2016 panel interview of Melissa Benoist, Tyler Hoechlin, Mehcad Brooks, David Harewood, Chyler Leigh, Jeremy Jordan, and David Harewood. There will be tension when the two meet as executive producer Sarah Schechter previously teased, “Clark has a very different experience of what it means to have super powers on earth”.
It can be recalled that in the premiere season of “Supergirl”, Kara/Supergirl (Benoist) was already communicating with her cousin, Clark Kent/Superman via text messages and email. So, this is what viewers can look forward to when it comes to seeing a different Superman this time around.
It appears that Superman will be fighting Metallo in “Supergirl” season 2. In the previous season, Kara and Clark only communicated through text messaging or online chats. A Superman that people haven’t met before is a Superman who has Supergirl in his life. She spent many years believing that she didn’t have a brother before learning the truth. The scene, which was taken in Vancouver, showed Superman and a familiar villain in combat.
This Supergirl casting news may not be as exciting as the Superman reveal, but it’s still intriguing.

Meanwhile, Tyler Hoechlin is now on the set filming “Supergirl” Season 2. The show’s first season is now re-airing on the network so that other viewers can catch up.
