Hyundai announces price increase across models effective Aug 16

The rupee depreciation and increase in raw materials cost have impacted our overall costs, the company said.

Hyundai India has introduced three new trims to celebrate the first anniversary of its popular Creta SUV.

S+ diesel automatic: It is an additional automatic variant to the diesel portfolio, in line with the growing consumer preference for automatic transmission vehicles. We have been absorbing most of the cost.

With more than 125,000 happy customers worldwide within a year of its launch, the company aims to serve more consumers through the new variants. Besides, the variant also gets sporty roof rails, electrically adjustable ORVM with LED turn indicators & rear AC vents for added convenience.

The company sells a range of models starting from hatchback Alto 800 to premium crossover S-Cross, priced Rs 2.45 lakh to Rs 12.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Apart from this, the Creta will now be available in a diesel automatic avatar.

The engine powering this variant is a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol unit that produces 122bhp and 154Nm of torque with power going to the front wheels via a six-speed manual. 75 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

In terms of changes made to the cabin, the interiors come with refreshed & sporty all-black theme dashboard with red accents, premium black seat fabric with red inserts.
