Boyfriend of Annie Lennox’s Daughter Missing After Couple’s Kayak Capsizes
Police searching for the boyfriend of Annie Lennox’s daughter have recovered a man’s body after the couple capsized while kayaking in New York state.

The Dutchess County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Lennox-Fruchtmann, 22, and Ian Jones, 32, became separated once they were thrown into the water due to their kayak flipping. Ms Lennox was in the water for 20 minutes following the accident before being picked up by a passing vessel.
Multiple reports suggest neither Tali nor her boyfriend were wearing life jackets when the kayak capsized. Capt. John Waterson of the Dutchess County Sherriff’s Office said, “We are expecting to find him, but as time goes on the chances of finding him alive are less and less”. “We believe that alcohol may have played a role”. Lennox gave birth to daughters Tali and Lola when married to Israeli film and record producer Uri Fruchtmann, her second of three husbands, from 1988 to 2000. An autopsy will be carried out on Tuesday to determine the cause of death and confirm identification. It’s also possible that strong rip currents pulled Jones underwater after he wiggled free from the capsized kayak.
Lennox, an artist and model, posted a tribute to Jones on Instagram last night.
The search for Jones continued all day Saturday until 10 PM, with over 50 people on hand as well as a helicopter. After daybreak, they decided to take the kayak trip rather than drive back.
The river’s strong current also makes the search operations more hard, officials said.
The authorities were certain that there is no foul play in the said incident.
The Sheriff’s Office’s Marine Patrol, Dive Team, Uniformed Patrol, and Detective Bureau aided with search efforts.
