Kante was a stand-out performer for Leicester City last season as they claimed a shock Premier League title win, earning himself a place in the PFA Team of the Year. It was a very easy decision.

“It was a case of coming back after having won the Premier League, making sure that the hunger was the same within myself and the squad”.
“We’ve taken some massive steps and ever since I arrived it’s been fantastic”, Schmeichel told LCFC TV.
He helped Leicester to the 2013-14 Championship title and kept 15 clean sheets during last term’s Premier League triumph. “I’ve loved being here from minute one”.
Therefore given the depth of quality to Leicester’s squad, which is characterised by a wealth of individual talent and unwavering collective unity, the Foxes are entering the new season armoured with all of the weaponry required to build upon the success they achieved last season. Nearly all the Premier League clubs have strengthen their squad and have rejuvenated confidence thanks to the Foxes magical 2015/16 season.
Those performances did not go unnoticed by Terry, who called Kante “incredible” for his form with Leicester. Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez were heavily linked with a move to Arsenal but Ranieri and the other Leicester City player have managed to convince them to stay at the club.
Ranieri, who is preparing his side to face FA Cup winners Manchester United in the season-opening Community Shield on Sunday, added: “I’m thinking about the match, not about the cars”.

That game represents an opportunity for the Foxes to build up before starting the defence of their Premier League title away to Hull six days later, as they look to both delight and excite for a second successive season.
